足少陰腎經(jīng)重點(diǎn)穴:涌泉(腎經(jīng)1)

穴義

涌，涌出；泉，水泉。
水上出為涌泉。穴居足心陷中，經(jīng)氣自下而上，如涌出之水泉。

Meaning

Yong, to gush; quan, spring.
Welled-up water is called gushing spring. The point is on the depression of hte sole; the Qi of meridian flows upwards as a gushing spring.

定位

足底（去趾)前中1/3交界處。

Location

approximately at the junction of the anterior and middle third of the sole (excluding toe).

主治

① 醒腦開(kāi)竅，治昏厥，癔病，抽搐等；
② 對(duì)血壓有雙向調(diào)節(jié)作用，既可治休克，又可治療高血壓（以炙為好)；
③ 末梢神經(jīng)炎，跖趾麻痛等。

Indication

1. to activate the brain-energy for waking up a patient from unconsciousness: syncope, hysteria, etc.
2. to treat both shock and high blood pressure (Moxibustion is preferred).
3. terminal neuritis, pain and numbness of toe and sole.
